If you don't like sappy moments stop reading now.
Hey Guys!
So I love Ashley. I am not sure if you all know that. Anyway, I was feeling really creative and I made a cool video in HD. However, it is to huge to upload without compression, so the quality is somewhat lacking, but give it a watch anyway because it's awesome.

Hey Guys!
I finally took some good advise and joined vimedo.com. This will allow me to upload my own videos! So here is the first one. Ashley and I went with our good friends Tim and Elicia to a roller skating rink. It was pretty neat. I only bailed pretty awfully once and banged my knees up pretty good, but everyone else seemed to do really well. Anyway, here is the vid:

Robots are taking over.
So earlier this month I saw a freeky video over on Corey's Blog about a robot that could self right itself. It's a quadroped robot who can walk on ANYTHING other than water. That include molten lava, people! If you haven't seen the original of this check out the link to Corey's blog first. It is insane. This however is a very worthy spoof of the "beta" version of the same robot. Give it a watch.

Long Time.
Hey Guys!
It has been a very long time since I last posted on the blog. So here I am catching you up on whats been happening.
LAN Parties. Think about that. It is probably one of the most awesome combinations of words in any language. LAN. Parties. So what about them? We've had them. Two of them in fact. Not just any LAN parties though, Xbox 360 LAN parties. Yes, it is as awesome as it sounds. The first one occurred at my house and lasted a piddly amount of time (4pm - 2:30am) the second (and more successful) party was at my bestest buddy Corey's house. 9am until midnight. It was EPIC. Rock Band was present during this LAN party and let me just say it one of the most interesting experiences I've had. Mike is probably one of the worst singers I have heard, yet it was somehow amazing to listen too. For footage check out Corey's blog.
Ok, now I leave the lighthearted world of LAN parties and into some serious stuff. Lately my mind has working non-stop about life. More specifically where I am going in it. Right now, I am a training specialist at work, and that is a great job. The people I work with have become my extended family. Being as my wedding is upcoming, I have been thinking a lot about where I am going with my career. Being a trainer is awesome, but it wont pay the bills forever. So my mind comes to rest on what I should do with my life. I have had 2 kicks at college and have not even worked in the field that I trained for. It seems the things I love to do are very difficult to find work in. So I will put this to you guys. What should I be when I grow up. IT Guy? Park Ranger? Stand Up comic? These are just some arbitrary suggestions. I want to seriously know what you guys think.
My mind has not stopped there however. Calgary is a great city don't get me wrong. But I have felt increasingly restless here and find I have a strong will to roam. Now I know this isn't a good time to move, with the wedding and Ash and I's jobs, but I just can't shake the feeling of wanting to move away from Calgary. Ontario, BC and the Maritimes are all places I really would love to move to. I feel bad to say this, but I don't think I will ever truly feel like Calgary is home and is certainly not where I want to start a family. The urge to roam brings me back to the last paragraph. If we move somewhere else, what would we do for work? We both have excellent jobs that are not backed by education. If we moved, would it be career suicide, or would it be the best thing ever?
Bah! It gets me all flustered just blogging about it.
Well how about I end this post with some happy thoughts. Easter long weekend, Ash and I went to Banff for a little R&R. The wedding and work have both proven stressful lately, so we took off for the mountains. The picture here is Ashley at the Cave and Basin historical site. She is gorgeous. We had an absolute blasty blast and it really helped us relax and recharge for the upcoming insanity to come. Well guys, thanks for reading and please comment on my life questions, any point of view is muchly welcome.
